Bauprobe is a theatre production facility located in Holborn, London, serving as a centerpoint for festivity in the city.

The building itself is planned to give an adaptable space, overlapping the production with the public realm, while still offering the privacy needed for set design.

With a name taken from the German language, Bauprobe is a design rehearsal in which a mock-up of the proposed set is built so as to clarify what you want to articulate with the site of the play. Central to the plan of the building is one of these spaces, a black box, adaptable for whatever needs the festivities or production facilities has.
